Siria: Labrador's Star
The goal of this project was to design a "local mascot" for my hometown of Labrador City, with the purpose of increasing tourism as well as town pride.
A Shining Light Guides Towards Labrador
My main goal on this project was devising an interesting way to bring some tourist appeal to my hometown. After some reflection, I decided to take inspiration from Japan's yuru-kyara, mascots who represent different small towns and prefectures by embodying their unique draws and features.

A lot of work was put into cohesiveness of design; many aspects of Siria's design is carried over across her branding and patterns, and all the different signage and merchandise feels like part of a complete set of items that do a great job of representing my hometown of Labrador City.
