Beer Can Label Designs
The goal of this project was to design two different beer can labels with a cohesive theme - in this case, the theme was "The Strongest in Ottawa."
Larger-than-Life Local Legend's Lagers
My main goal with this project was to have two wildly different label designs branching off from the one concept. Big Joe Mufferaw, a folk hero local to the Ottawa Valley, conveys a kind of "mythical" strength, a tall stoic lumberjack who protects nature.
A Brew With one Heck of a Mean Punch
On the other hand, Gerry Barber was a very real man who was known for his time spent working as a bartender, roughing up ne'er-do-wells, and generally keeping the peace with his bare hands. Gerry has, over time, become a real-life local legend.
